Andrew’s career in public sector land use planning has spanned more than three decades, including 19 years with the City of Glenwood Springs, Colorado as the Community Development Director, and previously as a planner with the City of Glenwood Springs and Garfield County, Colorado, and with Coconino and Mohave counties in Arizona.
​
Since leaving the public sector in 2016, Andrew has been self-employed working for private clients and as administrator of a local metropolitan district.  Andrew co-founded veraCity, LLC in 2018 with Ellie Caryl.

Andrew’s extensive experience includes:

Ellie’s career experience includes a mix of public and private sector, most recently serving as the ECO Trails Program Manager of Eagle County, Colorado for 19 years before co-founding veraCity, LLC in 2018.  While with ECO Trails, Ellie generated over $3 million in grant funding, lead construction of 17 miles of county-owned trail projects and completed an additional 19 miles of pre-construction trail planning.

Previously, Ellie held public sector Current Planner or Long-Range Planner positions with Eagle County and Town of Minturn, Colorado and the City of Flagstaff, Arizona as well as private sector positions with planning and development consulting firms in Colorado and Arizona.

  • Trail route planning including property research, feasibility studies and initial cost estimating
  • Local, state (e.g. CDOT) and federal government agency permit processing including submittal of NEPA compliant studies
